Dave Aubrey
Dave Aubrey is an award-nominated (losing) video games journalist based in the UK with more than ten years of experience in the industry. A bald man known for obnoxious takes, Dave is correct more often than people would like, and will rap on command. His favorite games are The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Resident Evil 4, Pokémon Gold/Silver, Super Mario 64, and Street Fighter 6. Kirk McKeand is the Content Director for DBLTap. A games media writer and editor from Lincoln, UK, he won a Games Media Award in 2014 in the Rising Star category. Following that, he was nominated for two Features Writer awards. He was also recognized in MCV's 30 Under 30 list in 2014. Unfortunately for him, he’s not under 30 anymore. His favorite games are The Witcher 3, The Last of Us Part 2, Dishonored 2, Deus Ex, Bloodborne, Suikoden 2, and Final Fantasy 7. You can buy Kirk McKeand's book, The History of the Stealth Game, in most bookstores in the US and UK. With a foreword written by Arkane's Harvey Smith, The History of the Stealth Game dives deep into the shadows of game development, uncovering the surprising stories behind some of the industry's most formative video games. @MckKirkMarco Wutz
Marco Wutz is a writer from Parkstetten, Germany. He has a degree in Ancient History and a particular love for real-time and turn-based strategy games like StarCraft, Age of Empires, Total War, Age of Wonders, Crusader Kings, and Civilization as well as a soft spot for Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. He began covering StarCraft 2 as a writer in 2011 for the largest German community around the game and hosted a live tournament on a stage at gamescom 2014 before he went on to work for Bonjwa, one of the country's biggest Twitch channels. He branched out to write in English in 2015 by joining tl.net, the global center of the StarCraft scene run by Team Liquid, which was nominated as the Best Coverage Website of the Year at the Esports Industry Awards in 2017. He worked as a translator on The Crusader Stands Watch, a biography in memory of Dennis "INTERNETHULK" Hawelka, and provided live coverage of many StarCraft 2 events on the social channels of tl.net as well as DreamHack, the world's largest gaming festival. From there, he transitioned into writing about the games industry in general after his graduation. He has also written for NGL.ONE, kicker, ComputerBild, USA Today's ForTheWin, The Sun, Men's Journal, and Parade.

Oliver Brandt (they/them) is an award-winning journalist, musician, and composer based in Tasmania, Australia. A media and communications graduate, they have a love for puzzle games, turn-based RPGs, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and any platformer with a double jump. Oliver worked in the live music industry as an audio engineer for a number of years before pivoting to marketing and promoting, ultimately transitioning into games media writing when they became deputy editor for Australian website Vooks in 2017. They have written for a number of outlets, both in Australia and overseas, including Maxi-Geek, News.com.au, Men's Journal, Parade, Newsweek, The Sun, ESPN, and a handful of regional newspapers. They have also worked as both an accessibility consultant and a composer on two unannounced indie video games, and are a fierce advocate for improved accessibility in video games, film, and TV. Ryan Woodrow is Guides Editor for DBLTap and he’s based in London, England. He has a particular love for JRPGs and the stories they tell. His all-time favorite JRPGs are the Xenoblade Chronicles games because of their philosophy-driven stories that hold great meaning. He also loves Persona 5 Royal, Octopath Traveler, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Nier Automata, and Pokémon. Ryan regularly dives deep into the indie scene trying to find hidden gems and innovative ideas. Some of his favorite indie games include FTL: Faster Than Light, Thomas Was Alone, Moonlighter, Phantom Abyss, and Towerfall Ascension. He has a first-class degree in Games Studies from Staffordshire University and has previously written for USA Today's ForTheWin, Men’s Journal, Newsweek, ESPN, Game Rant, The Sun, and KeenGamer.
