Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – How to use the Weird Pictos

At the festival in the prologue of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you can spend one of your Festival Tokens on a Weird Pictos, an item that seemingly has no use at all, as it appears unusable. As you progress on your adventure, though, an opportunity will arise for it to become useful; you just have to know where to look.

How to use the Weird Pictos

You’ll find the place to use the Weird Picto in the Gestral Village, a location you’ll reach some ways into Act 1 of the story. As you arrive there, turn left into the merchant’s row and talk to one of the large Gestrals there, enter his shop and buy anything, then as you leave, he’ll notice your Weird Pictos.

Allow him to take a look at it, and he’ll convert it into a Level 5 Augmented Aim Pictos, either upgrading it if you already have the lower-level version, or giving it to you fresh if you don’t. It’s a very useful boost, which is why you shouldn’t skip out on the activities at the festival.
