MachineGames / Bethesda / Microsoft

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to PS5 and PS5 Pro on April 17, 2025. The hit title from MachineGames and Bethesda was released in December 2024 for PC and Xbox, though in accordance with Microsoft’s new gaming strategy that platform exclusivity did not last long.

Both critics and users loved the first-person adventure game with over four million users having stepped into Indy’s shoes by January 2024, so PS5 owners have been itching to get their hands on it.

“We’re so excited to bring Indiana Jones and the Great Circle to PlayStation players,” said John Jennings, the game’s production director. “Each platform introduces something unique to the experience, and we’ve worked hard to ensure our use of the PlayStation 5’s suite of features directly benefits you and the game. We look forward to hearing your Indy stories!”

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will support the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for enhanced immersion on top of using its lightbar to provide visual feedback on what’s currently happening in the game. A yellow glow, for example, will indicate that Indy’s currently being looked for by opposing NPCs, so you better keep your head low.

Sony and MachineGames promised that the game will run at a stable 60 frames per second with “high quality resolution” and support frictionless loading thanks to SSD optimization. On the PS5 Pro, the game will run with a native 4K resolution and feature advanced ray tracing for enhanced visual clarity.

Fans who pre-order the Premium Edition of the game can dive into the world-spanning journey two days early thanks to Advanced Access.
