Pokémon TCG Pocket’s next expansion is focused on Eevee and coming next week

The Pokémon Company has just announced the next Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion — it’s called Eevee Grove, and it’s out next week.
Eevee Grove is a themed booster pack expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, meaning it comes with a single booster pack and a smaller pool of cards than a full expansion — usually about a hundred or so. As the name suggests, Eevee Grove will focus on Eevee and its evolutions, with every Eeveelution making an appearance in the set, either as regular Stage 1 cards or as Stage 1 ex cards.
The set seems to revolve around the new Eevee ex card, which is unique as a Pokémon ex card because you can evolve it into any card that Eevee would normally evolve into. This should give you a few different and interesting options, including the ability to effectively transform an ex card into a non-ex card. It’s hard to say whether or not that will actually be something somebody wants to do without seeing the full set, but it’s certainly interesting.
New Trainer cards are, of course, included in this set too, including a Supporter card for Penny, which lets you use any of your opponent’s Supporter cards from their entire deck and use its effect, letting you flexibly build your decks without dedicating slots to cards you can be sure your opponent has. A new Item card called Eevee Bag – again inspired by Penny – which can let you choose between an Eeveelution dealing extra damage or healing 20 damage from each Pokémon that evolves from Eevee, a curious new choice ability that hasn’t been seen in the game before.
Other cards included in the set are some Psychic-type Pokémon lines, like the Swirlix and Milcery lines, which hopefully isn’t the main focus of this set, given Psychic-type decks are already some of the best meta decks in Pokémon TCG Pocket. It’s likely to get even stronger, too, with the introduction of Sylveon ex, which lets you draw two cards when you put it into play from your hand.
The Eevee Grove expansion will be released in Pokémon TCG Pocket on June 26, 2025.
