Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 leads second wave of Xbox Game Pass additions in April 2025

RPG is coming alongside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Anno 1800.

Microsoft cooked up a delicious round of Xbox Game Pass additions for the second half of April 2025 with highly anticipated RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 leading the charge. Featuring the likes of Andy Serkis, Ben Starr, and Jennifer English, the title is essentially a French take on the classic JRPG formula and has gathered a lot of hype from its previews and gameplay reveals.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will come to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on April 24, 2025, and Game Pass Ultimate as well as PC Game Pass members will be able to play it immediately as part of their subscription.

That’s not the only heavy-hitter for this wave, though. Subscribers can look forward to playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022), diving into the action of Far Cry 4, building up an economic powerhouse in Anno 1800, or going on a sinister fishing trip in Dredge — that’s a lot of good titles.
