3 Things We Want in Valorant Patch 3.10
By Kavya Khosla
Valorant, while currently in a great state, can always be improved. There are always changes that Riot can make to Agents or to mechanics in a game that will really improve the experience of players who decide to load up and play Valorant. Riot has been on top of changing things through patches, and with the next one coming soon it is only right to start talking about some of the things the community has on their wish lists.
Here are three things Valorant players want to see in Patch 3.10
3 Things We Want in Valorant Patch 3.10
1. Chamber Release
This is confirmed to be coming within the week, but still players cannot wait to get their hands on this French Sentinel. His unique gun based kit places him in a never before seen role, and the whole community is excited to see how he plays. His combinations with other characters, especially Jett, seem endless and there is already a lot of theory crafting going into ways to use this new Agent.
2. Map Selector
With Fracture, Valorant's seventh map entering the rotation, it feels like the game is saturated enough now to take on the challenge of a map selector. At the end of the day, games are supposed to be fun, and if a player truly doesn't enjoy a map they shouldn't have to play it. Pro teams ban maps in tournaments, so casual players should at least have some say in what they play. This would take some time to implement but would go a long way to increasing enjoyment.
3. Tagging Speed reduced
Valorant is a game where movement is very important, getting information then getting out using proper movement is rewarding, but all of that can be taken away by one pistol shot through one of the many what seems like paper walls on Ascent. Tagging can cause some really unfortunate deaths for players who really don't deserve to die for just simply being sprayed through walls with no hope of escape. Reducing the tagging speed even slightly could go a long way to making good movement feel more rewarding in Valorant.
