As mentioned, the title and theme for the next season will be Lone Wolves. Of the title, 343 said, "By “theme” we mean a core idea that guides the creation of much, but not all, of a Season’s content."

"Lone Wolf Spartans are hunters. Trackers. They’re resourceful improvisers, operating deep in enemy territory without resupply or support. They’re fierce, rugged, and prefer to work alone—but they’re still loyal to the Spartan pack."

The blog post gave players a glimpse at the concept art for two of Halo Infinite's "Lone Wolves."

Season 2 will also see playlist updates, balance changes, new modes, and maps. The maps that have been teased so far are an Arena map named “Catalyst” and one BTB map named “Breaker.” New modes making an appearance include "Last Spartan Standing", a free-for-all elimination mode, alongside another new mode named "Land Grab." Making a return in Season 2 will also be "King of the Hill" mode.

"We will have a lot more to share about the Season 2 maps, modes, customization options, and narrative content in April, as our marketing and promotional campaign kicks into high gear," the blog post read.

So, it seems Halo fans will have plenty to look forward to when the new season drops on May 3. Until then, keep working on that Season 1 battle pass which is set to end on May 2.
