IEM Beijing-Haidian is the fourth Intel Grand Slam Season 3 event featuring some top teams from both Europe and North America.

The field includes the likes of Astralis, Evil Geniuses, Team Vitality, FaZe Clan, ViCi Gaming, TYLOO, ENCE and the newly minted 100 Thieves. There are a multitude of players to highlight at the event, but a few stand out among the rest.

Here are the four best players, limiting it to one per team, at IEM Beijing-Haidian.

4. NiKo - FaZe Clan

It’s been a bumpy road recently for FaZe Clan, but it seems like its new roster is starting to right the ship. The team recently won BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen after picking up Marcelo “coldzera” David and Helvijs “broky” Saukants. Nikola “NiKo” Kovac took home MVP honors at the event. Look for the in-game leader and star player to help FaZe Clan try for another trophy.

3. Ethan - Evil Geniuses

Ethan Arnold was a key part of Evil Geniuses’ second championship run at StarSeries Season 8. The North American lineup has flourished since joining EG from NRG. Ethan posted a 1.24 HLTV 2.0 rating at the event and is an integral rifler for the team. If EG wants to win its third trophy, Ethan will be vital.

2. ZywOo - Team Vitality

Considered one of the best, if not the best player in the world currently, Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut has been the key to success for Team Vitality. He’s won two trophies for the team, most notably the ECS S7 Finals. The French side came up just short at DreamHack Masters Malmo and have a tough group in China. If Vitality wants to challenge for the trophy, look for ZywOo to help catapult the team.

1.  Dev1ce - Astralis

What can be said about Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz that hasn’t already been said? The Danish AWPer is a four-time Major champion. He’s integral to Astralis as a whole, manning the big green rifle. Astralis has had a dip in form since winning the StarLadder Berlin Major, but the Danes are never one to count out at an event.

IEM Beijing-Haidian takes place Nov. 6-10 at the Beijing University Students’ Stadium with $250,000 and a seed at IEM Katowice 2020 on the line.
