Episode 3 for Valorant has had the addition of its newest Agent, KAY/O. Understanding which team compositions fit best with him rely solely on how his abilities work along with others, and these are the best agents to pair him up with.

1. Killjoy

As Killjoy and KAY/O both can provide abilities that lead enemies away from sites or to gather information, they combine like a well-oiled machine. In conjunction with Killjoy's Lockdown (X) ultimate and KAY/O's ZERO/POINT (E) ability, enemies will have to back away from the site and KAY/O will be able to give the team information on where they can be hiding. For the post-plant, Killjoy's Nanoswarm (C) with KAY/O's FRAG/MENT (C) can also ensure that enemies will have to kill them both in order to defuse the bomb. A well-coordinated KAY/O and Killjoy will make a large impact if used correctly.

2. Skye

Since the latest patch for Episode 3 has removed the ability for Skye to deliver three flashes in the sky, KAY/O is here to fill that void. Skye's ability to provide healing and scout out information can make KAY/O players' lives a little easier as they do not have to commit to a site when Skye can really do all of the work for them. On top of that, if players would like to abuse the number of times someone can look at a flashed screen, Skye and KAY/O can allow enemies to fully analyze how bright the light can be. Enemies will have to hold a passive position on-site or give it up altogether if they're constantly flashed and cannot gather information.

3. Jett

Though Jett has taken a bit of a beating in the latest patch, that doesn't mean she's out for the count, as KAY/O will seek to revitalize her strength despite her nerfs. Her strength as an Agent is complemented by KAY/O's ability to scout enemies deep into a site without her having to engage for the information, couple this with a couple of flashes and suppression, and Jett can make the enemies roll over and die easily.

4. Raze

Much like with Jett, so long as KAY/O is able to set up enough flashes and information for Raze, it could spell out easy kills for her, especially if she has her Showstopper (X) ultimate up. If someone were to flash the site with KAY/O's FLASH/DRIVE (Q), Raze could easily storm in with her Blast Pack (Q) and deliver the rocket to clear sites very easily. Simply put, KAY/O provides great utility for high-risk plays that Raze needs to thrive on in order to be relevant in the match.

5. Astra

Astra's abilities arguably work the best out of all the agents in the game. If players are able to utilize the combination of Astra's Stars and the abilities, particularly Gravity Well (C), KAY/O's FRAG/MENT (C) can deliver a lot of damage as enemies are pulled closer to the center of KAY/O's ability thanks to Astra. On top of a combination of abilities, Astra and KAY/O can also control the pace of the match depending on how they decide to use their utility. This combination is just too deadly.
