5 Best Bot Lane Duos in League of Legends Patch 11.19
By Bao Ha
League of Legends Patch 11.19 will be live on Wednesday, Sept. 22, two weeks before the League of Legends World Championship begins. The patch follows the previous in fine tuning balance issues leading up to Worlds, working to ensure the meta will be optimal for the biggest tournament of the year.
Last patch changed many bot laners with Varus being one of the strongest picks. He has now fallen out of favor with other picks rising. With the full patch preview now available, here are the five best bot lane duos in Patch 11.19.
5 Best Bot Lane Duos in League of Legends Patch 11.19
1. Miss Fortune and Leona
With Sona and Soraka both being nerfed, bot lane duos without built in sustain are stronger. Miss Fortune and Leona is a great duo that locks down enemies and kills them within seconds, making them a top bot lane duo in Patch 11.19.
2. Twitch and Zilean
Similar to Miss Fortune and Leona, Twitch and Zilean benefit from matching enemies without heals. Zilean provides heavy poke damage and a game changing ultimate that is only stronger with the nerfs to Sona and Soraka.
3. Ashe and Karma
Ashe and Karma are a great answer to the heavy burst and poke bot lane duos above. They are great at avoiding damage with Ashe's slows and Karma's shield and speed. Together, they are a well-rounded bot lane duo with strong matchups.
4. Caitlyn and Seraphine
Seraphine is finally getting buffed after getting nerfed to the ground for being oppressive on release. She pairs well with Caitlyn who can follow up at long distances on any poke or stuns that Seraphine may land.
5. Kai'sa and Thresh
Kai'sa and Thresh are a great bot lane duo as Kai'sa can easily play off Thresh's crowd control. The key is for Thresh to land his hooks, otherwise this duo can get overrun or out scaled, but if played well early then this duo can carry games together.
