5 Best Bot Lane Duos in League of Legends Patch 12.3
By Yunah Elsner
We've put together a list of the five best duos in League of Legends Patch 12.3. A bot lane duo consists of an AD Carry and support champion.
The reason why an ADC needs a support champion is because ADCs are late-game carriers. ADCs are typically squishy champions who have the potential to do tons of damage to the enemy team. However, in order for ADCs to do a lot of damage, they need items. By having a support who can CC enemy champions or heal their ADC, this gives the ADC a higher chance of surviving ganks, the opportunity to secure a kill and obtain more gold for items.
With the new marksman Zeri being introduced to the game and the announcement of the new support champion Renata, here is a current list of the five best bot lane duos in Patch 12.3.
5 Best Bot Lane Duos in League of Legends Patch 12.3
1. Tristana & Blitzcrank
Tristana has always been a strong AD Carry. Her damage and range is almost inescapable at full build, and her W ability allows her to leap towards an enemy. Right now, Tristana is best played with the support champion Blitzcrank. Blitzcrank's ability to hook enemy champions and stun them allows Tristana to secure a kill from a distance.
2. Jhin & Zyra
Jhin and Zyra are an unforgiving bot lane duo. Jhin is known for rooting his enemy champions with W and unloading a massive amount of damage onto them. Zyra has also been a strong support who does sustainable damage to champions as well as roots and immobilizes them with her abilities. This duo is perfect against more tanky bot lane champions.
3. Zeri & Soraka
Zeri and Soraka have been a popular pick in Summoner's Rift. Although Zeri was nerfed in Patch 12.3, she is still incredible strong. However, Zeri is incredibly squishy so having Soraka as a support can help Zeri survive longer and stay in lane. Soraka has also been a broken support champion. Building Warmog's Armor and Seraph's Embrace has been popular as Warmog's allows her to limitlessly heal ally champions while Seraph's Embrace gives her mana and higher AP damage.
4. Vayne & Leona
Vayne is currently the most popular ADC to play in Patch 12.3. She is able to dodge enemies' attacks as well as damage and chase down enemies with her range. Leona and Vayne are a great duo as Leona is tanky and can hook onto enemy champions, stunning them, while Vayne deals the damage and secures the kill.
5. Zeri & Lulu
Lulu is arguably the most broken support champion in the game. Her ability to keep her teammates alive has frustrated many League of Legends players. The reason why Zeri and Lulu are on this is because of how Zeri's passive and Lulu's shielding abilities work perfectly together. Zeri gains movement speed every time she is shielded while Lulu can shield and speed up allies. Lulu's Q also slows enemies allowing Zeri to chase them down.
