5 Best FIFA 22 Shapeshifters Team 1 Players

Shapeshifters were added to FIFA 22 on Friday, June 17, adding a new team of position-changed, highly upgraded cards to the game. Team 1 is available for one week, and features some of the best FIFA 22 cards we've seen outside of TOTS.

Almost every card in the team is a top player, but as always there are the top chase cards. Here are the five best Shapeshifters players from Team 1.

5. Pierre Kalulu (CB, AC Milan: 94 Rated)

Kalulu adds to the list of elite French center backs in FIFA 22. With 94 pace and 94 defending, not many defenders can match those stats, and his combination of strength and agility means Kalulu can keep up with the best attackers in FUT.

4. Youcef Atal (CM, OGC Nice: 95 Rated)

Over the last few FIFA installments, Atal has received some insane cards all over the field. From ST all the way down the wing to RB, his cards have been good everywhere, and the newest Shapeshifters item in FIFA 22 is no different.

Position-changed to CDM, Atal is in the growing Nainggolan Club of midfielders in FIFA 22, and his high/high work rates make him one of the most over-powered box-to-box midfielders in the game. Alphonso Davies' Shapeshifters is an honorable mention, but his high/low work rates have him more suited for the attack.

3. Eden Hazard (CAM, Real Madrid: 96 Rated)

Hazard hasn't received a central-positioned card since his FIFA 20 FUT Birthday item, which was one of the best of the promo. With his CAM Shapeshifters item, he comes with the following stats:

• Pace: 98
• Shooting: 95
• Passing: 93
• Dribbling: 99
• Defending: 45
• Physical: 75

These stats are great for any position in the attack. Hazard can play the wing, down the middle at CAM, or even as a nimble striker with perfect dribbling and five-star skill moves.

2. Heung Min-Son (ST, Spurs: 97 Rated)

Son's Shapeshifters item is his highest-rated card in any FIFA title and his first central-based card since TOTW Moments in FIFA 20. With five-star skills and weak foot, 97 pace and shooting, this card is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in the game, up there with TOTY Mbappe and PIM Ronaldo. Not much else can be said besides if a certain Argentinian legend didn't exist, this would be the best position-changed card we've seen this year.

1. Lionel Messi (CF, PSG: 99 Rated)

Messi's Shapeshifters item stands alongside PIM Pele as the only 99-rated cards in the game. He's also the only player in the entire game with both 99 passing and dribbling, making him one of the best possible CAMs you can have in your squad. Combined with five-star skill moves and his unique body type, this Messi may be one of the best CAM we've seen not just in FIFA 22, but in all of FUT.
