The five best Lillia counters in League of Legends takes a look at which champions will have the most success shutting down Lillia once she hits the rift. Lillia looks to be a fearsome team fighter as she can do massive amounts of ability power damage while also having a global crowd control ultimate. In a team fight, Lillia must be addressed early or else she has the ability to put your entire team to sleep. Lets take a look at which champions will have the best chance at dispatching the new jungler.

5 Best Lillia Counters in League of Legends

Zed

This seems like a fairly obvious pick, but an extremely effective one. Lillia doesn't have any defensive tools in her kit which makes her extremely vulnerable to AD assassins such as Zed. Since she has the ability to put a team to sleep, Zed should wait until his team engages or find a flank and dive onto Lillia. As long as he avoids the sleep, it should be an easy kill every time.

Malzahar

Malzahar is the go-to pick to shut down enemy champions who are broken. His ultimate, Nether Grasp (R), locks enemies down and allows his team to find an easy kill. This may be overkill since Lillia doesn't have a lot of health to begin with, but Malzahar can restrict her ability to impact team fights at all with his ultimate.

Rengar

Rengar seems like a great choice to bully Lillia because of his ability to burst her down quickly. Since Lillia is fairly easy to kill, Rengar can hide in bushes around her jungle and make it extremely difficult for her to farm. In team fights, Rengar can use his ultimate to jump on to Lillia or simply find flanks and kill her before she has time to end the team fight.

Galio

Galio is a logical pick to counter Lillia because of his status as an anti-mage. Galio has a built-in magic shield from his passive which allows him to take a punch and keep going. Since Lillia has to get fairly close to her enemies to do damage, Galio can use Shield of Durand (W) to taunt her and allow his allies to find an easy kill.

Mordekaiser

While Mordekaiser may not see Lillia too often in lane, he has the ability to take her out of team fights--literally. If Lillia is proving to be problematic, Mordekaiser can use his ultimate, Realm of Death (R), to take Lillia out of the fight where she cannot use her ultimate or any of her AoE abilities to impact anyone but Mordekaiser. This allows Mordekaiser's team to fight a four versus four fight without Lillia. Even if Mordekaiser dies to Lillia, his team will likely have a numbers advantage that they can use to clean up the fight.
