The five best mid laners in League of Legends Patch 11.7 can handle their enemy laner, while farming and defending against enemy ganks. After looking at the current meta, win-rate and ban-rate statistics, we have listed who we believe to be the best mid laners of League of Legends Patch 11.7.

5 Best Mid Laners in League of Legends Patch 11.7

1. Anivia

Even after a few nerfs here and there, Anivia's performance has been consistence thanks to her crowd control, high damage output, and her passive helping a lot during the laning phase of the game.

2. Kassadin

With some of the items of his core build changing, Kassadin has become an even stronger pick. In a lane dominated by many ability-power mages, having shields in his kit has allowed this champion to perform well particularly in the mid to late game once his damage starts ramping up.

3. Yone

Being able to deal both magic and physical damage makes most champions vulnerable to Yone given that even if they build magic armor, he can still deal physical damage, and vice versa. His mobility in Soul Unbound makes him a great "hunter" in that he can pursue enemies with this ability and his ultimate combined.

4. Katarina

After being buffed, Katarina has seen her win-rates and ban-rates increase once again, and it is understandable. With a notorious reputation as the Queen of Pentakills, a fed Katarina can single-handedly destroy the enemy team over and over with her high mobility, short-distance teleportation and significant damage.

5. Zed

In the competitive scene, Zed's shadows play a large role given that he has more control during the laning phase with the clone, while his ultimate is a death sentence to any squishy. On top of being able to deal incredible amounts of damage, he has a lot of mobility being able to switch places depending on where his shadows are. Not having a mana bar also gives him an advantage over his enemies, given that he does not run out of mana.
