5 Best Mid Laners in League of Legends Patch 11.9
League of Legends Patch 11.9 is on the way and it looks like the Rift will continue to be a a stomping ground for battlemages. Thanks to the recent buff to Hextech Rocketbelt's magic penetration there's been a resurgence of mages. We didn't see nerfs come to many mid laners so that trend will continue moving forward.
Here's a list of the five best mid laners in League of Legends patch 11.9
5 Best Mid Laners in League of Legends Patch 11.9
Vladamir
Vladamir took a slight hit this patch, this comes as no surprise after being thrust into a position of dominance in the previous patch. His lowered cooldown doesn't really do much to affect his kit other than bring him slightly down to earth.
Qiyana
Qiyana joins the list as the best assassin in the game. Since 11.5 when Riot gave her a massive buff she's firmly held her position at the top of the pack without any real contention and that won't be changing anytime soon.
Rumble
Rumble is getting a nerf to his passive damage on-hit but that isn't going to stop him from bullying enemy champions in lane. He's still got a ridiculous attack speed boost while overheated that will keep him ridiculously strong. Look forward to dealing with the Rumble mains going into 11.9.
Talon
In patch 11.9 Talon will remain an incredibly strong assassin thanks to how strong lethality is right now in League of Legends. After the Serpent's Fang buff a few patches ago it was pretty much sealed that Talon would be a premiere pick. Since nothing has been done that affects his kit we'll continue to see him terrorize anyone who stands in front of him.
Katarina
The Hextech Rocketbelt buff was just the thing Katarina need to see her make a return to our list. The magic penetration received allows her to burst down enemy squishes with ease. Dealing with Katarina will be hard because all she really needs is a few seconds to end an enemy's life bar touch zero.
