Gamers are looking to find out the five best mid laners in League of Legends Patch 12.5.

Mid laners are typically champions who can easily become the late-game carry. The middle lane provides the fastest income of gold and experience due to its short distance, which makes the mid laners a powerful asset to any team. By being in the center of the map, this position enables these champions to roam to top or bottom lane and gank the enemy team.

With Patch 12.5, here is a current list of the five best mid laners in League of Legends.

5 Best Mid Laners in League of Legends Patch 12.5

1. Ahri

Ahri is a Nine-Tailed Fox champion that had a huge rework this season. This caused her popularity to sky rocket and she's become a great pick for the middle lane. She did get hit with a nerf this patch that had her Fox-Fire (W) base damage decreased and Charm (E) mana cost increase, but this should not affect players too much. She's a great champion for gamers looking to play a high-mobility mage.

2. Lux

Known to be a strong champion in both mid lane and bot lane, gamers love to play Lux. Her abilities allow her to slow her enemies, stun opponents, and shield other allies. Her ultimate also beams multiple enemies, which deals a lot of damage. As her abilities are easy to use, both beginners and pros alike opt for Lux in the middle lane.

3. Veigar

Veigar makes it onto the list as he is an excellent champion for beginners to pick up. He is great in the mid lane as he has high burst damage and one-shot potential. More specifically, his best feature includes a cage that stuns enemy champions. This allows him to unleash a combination of damage to eliminate the enemy. If players are able to utilize his skills well, he's a fantastic choice for the middle lane.

4. Yone

With no nerfs this patch to Yone, he is an extremely powerful champions to play in the middle lane. His most notable ability is Soul Unbound (E), which allows Yone to trade freely and deal lots of damage in a short amount of time. Although he has a bit of a learning curve, he's a top choice for gamers looking to dominate the middle lane.

5. Sylas

Sylas has made it onto the list as he is an extremely flexible champion to use. He can leap towards his enemies, deal a lot of damage, and walk away without getting hit too much. Sylas is known as a sustainable yet strong champion that will make opponents frustrated in their attempts to take control of the middle lane.
