5 Best Viktor Counters
Viktor was one of the most prized champions in League of Legends competitive play for months until his eventual nerfs that shoved him back into obscurity.
Recently, he has been slightly buffed to make up for this, but is still strong unless it's against a counter pick like Cassiopeia. If you don't know how to deal with the savior from Zaun, we've got you covered.
Here are five of the best counters to Viktor in League of Legends.
5 Best Viktor Counters
5. Ahri
Viktor is immobile making him an easy target for lined skill shots such as Ahri's Charm. Even with his slow field on the ground, Ahri can dash through it and chase him down, making her a problematic lane opponent.
4. Vel'Koz
Viktor's short range and immobility makes him susceptible to Vel'Koz's high amount of damage. It's just too easy for Vel'Koz to stack his passive, allowing him to vaporize Viktor with ease.
3. Kassadin
Kassadin laughs as Viktor tries to deal damage, then laughs as Viktor tries to run away. Then, Kassadin kills Viktor. This cycle repeats itself until Viktor disconnects.
2. Ashe/Sejuani/Rakan
These champions aren't mid laners, but they are extremely hard for Viktor to deal with. Champions with long range engage tools make Viktor's life miserable, as he is very easy to jump on in lane past the 15 minute mark.
Ashe and Sejuani can stun Viktor easily, even while out of vision. As for Rakan, he's just a nightmare bringing engage that's hard to dodge and unpredictable.
1. Nocturne (Mid)
Nocturne mid is the best counter to Viktor. First, Nocturne comes equipped with a spell shield, that can block Viktor's stun.
Nocturne can apply his fear without consequence and then auto-attack him to death. Nocturne also has his ultimate, which punishes over extending immobile champions like Viktor hard. If you're struggling to believe that Nocturne mid is the ultimate counter, believe the math. Nocturne beats Viktor almost 60% of the time.
