5 Changes We Don't Want In League of Legends Patch 11.9
In the past, League of Legends has had some pretty aggressive updates, hopefully Patch 11.9 continues the trend. We've seen some polarizing patches come through Season 11 shifting the seat of power multiple times. But, as Riot strives for balance there are sure to be some hiccups on the way there.
Here's a list of five changes we don't want in League of Legends Patch 11.9.
5 Changes We Don't Want In League of Legends Patch 11.9
Attack Damage Buffs
The AD champions are at the top of the totem pole right now and that doesn't look like it's bound to change anytime soon. Any buff to AD or reduction to armor would be overkill at this point.
Less Defense
The Seeker's Armguard nerf was a big hit to mid lane mages. Any magic resist or armor nerfs would probably make them fodder to other roles. In a meta of glass cannons let's work on a way to get everyone to a common ground.
More Burst Damage
Right now burst damage is king. Champions are combining their abilities to deal huge chunks of damage and wipe out enemies. It's one thing for this to be the product of a select few champions but right now everyone is a heavy hitter. Maybe Riot should think about adding a higher level of technical difficulty to chaining together damage. That's not to say every champion has to be Orianna or Syndra but it'd definitely help with the problems at hand.
More Ability Haste
The addition of ability haste has been one of the most dynamic changes to ever come to League of Legends. However, it's made it so that escape is next to impossible. With items like Stridebreaker and certain champions already having gap closers if you're caught off guard by an enemy that's next to certain death.
Lifesteal Buffs
If life steal gets an boost next patch we'll be seeing the game take a turn for the worst. The champions that dish out these massive chunks of burst damage will not only kill their enemies extremely fast but they'll also heal faster than they can be killed.
