5 Things We Want for League of Legends in 2021
League of Legends has remained at the top of the ladder for video games since its release by Riot Games in 2009. Many features have changed over the years and many things remain the same.
Summoner's Rift has evolved beautifully as technology continues to improve and allow designers to deliver an upgraded product. Riot certainly bases changes on player feedback, so here are five things we want out of League of Legends in 2021
5 Things We Want for League of Legends in 2021
5. More Event Missions
The state of League of Legends can stale easily, especially if you go on a losing streak in ranked play. The introduction of missions to unlock rewards was a great way to combat that, but most of the missions can be completed in a single weekend and then you won't receive new ones for weeks at a time.
4. More Custom Game Options
Custom games seem to lack any real customization options. Give players the ability to choose real options like Ultra Rapid Fire or Legend of the Poro King. Giving players more options and freedom in custom games would create a more fun-based community
3. Save the Bot Lane
The bot lane has been suffering for quite some time now. ADC champions are getting run down by almost every other style of a champion. The attempted fix with Samira hasn't really fixed the root of the problem that ADC's just fell behind the rest of the game.
2. Remove All Chat
One of the biggest and most consistent issues with League of Legends is the toxicity of the community. Games are plagued by trolls that ruin the teamwork it takes to win a match. Trolls tend to thrive on the attention they receive from their teammates and opposition, which encourages them to continue the behavior because they think it's funny. Removing in-game all chat cuts the trolls audience in half.
1. A Fixed Client
League of Legends and Riot are infamous for their bugged out client. As one of the biggest video games in the world, I think it's high time Riot took the time to fully fix their client. It doesn't seem like too much to ask after 12 years of existence.
