5 Things We Want in Fortnite Chapter 4
By Kevin Montes
A new chapter is making its way to Fortnite and here are the five things that we want the team at Epic Games to introduce.
Fortnite Chapter 3 already did a phenomenal job flipping the script on the franchise. Entertaining and useful mobility items such as the Grapple Glove and the popular chrome mechanic have reinvigorated the game for many users. Not only that, but collaborations with major IP such as Dragon Ball and Rocket League generated plenty of interest.
Following up on this eventful chapter is not going to be a walk in the park, but we believe the following additions to the game could really spice things up and further push Fortnite successes.
5 Things We Want in Fortnite Chapter 4
1.New Map
Recent leaks brought forth by Twitter user GMatrixGames have alluded to a new map being unveiled alongside Fortnite Chapter 4. If true, this would be a very welcome change. Epic Games has done a fantastic job whenever they come up with a new map and we hope that the next island could offer an experience akin to Rebirth Island. Giving players less room to work with could spark some insanely entertaining situations and give Fortnite players a whole new way to tackle matches.
2. New First Person Game Mode
While controversial, adding a First-Person mode to the game could be a great was to freshen things up. Being able to see all of Fortnite's areas in this perspective would offer a unique mode, enticing players to check it out. It's difficult to see how Epic Games would be able to pull this off alongside building, so maybe offering this alongside a no-build mode would be the best course of action.
3. Expanded Options for Animal Mounts
Currently, there are only a few types of animal mounts available for players to use on the island that we'd like to see changed. The possibilities are through the roof here as animal mounts do not have to be limited to land creatures. Introducing aerial and aquatic animal mounts would make for some memorable moments. There are already vehicles that do both these kind of traversals, so this should be a no-brainer.
4. Continued Anime Collaborations
Fortnite's previous collaborations with anime IPs such as Dragon Ball and Naruto have been smashing successes for the game. It only makes sense that further collaborations should be sought out for. The anime community is extremely dedicated and many shows would translate well into the Fortnite aesthetic. Titles such as Bleach and My Hero Academia are prime examples of collaborations that would be instant hits.
5. Additional Vehicle Options
Finally, we'd like to see more vehicles be added to the game. This season introduced unique options such as the Ballers and Rocket League's Octane vehicle. We'd like to see more famous cars be added to the game, such as Kit from Knight Rider or the Mach 5 from Speed Racer. Branching out to motorcycles would also be fantastic as it would give players a whole new mobility experience.
