5 Things We Want in League of Legends Patch 12.3
By Yunah Elsner
We've put together a list of five things we want in League of Legends Patch 12.3. The next patch update is scheduled to be released on Feb. 1 bringing new reworks, VGUs and balances to the current state of the game.
Players have been busy playing the game as the Lunar Revel event went live on Jan. 26. This event was created in order to celebrate the Lunar New Year, and is a time where players can earn tokens and exchange them for loot. This year's theme, Porcelain, features the new Porcelain skin set which players can buy in the in-game shop. Along with new skins, limited edition accessories and chromas can be obtained during this event.
5 Things We Want in League of Legends Patch 12.3
1. Zeri Nerf
Zeri has been a powerful champion, but overall not as terrifying as players through she would be. However, players have been able to do crazy damage when taking Runaan's Hurricane. Specifically, her ultimate ability has been able to stack with this item. This has been broken in the current game, leaving players unable to counter this combination. Hopefully, Riot Games will make a fix to this issue.
2. Champion Balances
Riot recently removed the Chemtech Drake from League of Legends after many players had said it was too powerful. For champions like Rengar, he was reworked in order to fit the Chemtech Rift. With the removal of the new drake, there may be an interesting dynamic on the rift as several players have built strategies around the Chemtech Drake buffs.
3. Lulu Nerf
Lulu has been overpowered in the game for quite some time. She can be paired with many different champions in the game and grants shielding and movement speed. Players have started to get frustrated with the support champion especially with the new release of Zeri.
4. Tighten Up the Current Meta of the Game
League of Legends is kind of everywhere right now. Some champions and items are way too powerful, while others are rarely even seen in gameplay anymore. Hopefully, new champions and item updates will be added in with the next patch. Especially with the Chemtech Drake removed, Riot needs to tighten things up.
5. Skins for More Champions
Riot Games has been releasing a lot of skins for the Lunar Revel event as well as the Crystal/Withered Rose skins. However, there's no such thing as too many skins. Players have also been specifically asking Riot for new Rell, Kha'Zix and Ornn skins. There's a lot of frustration from players that certain champions have received a lot more skins than others.
