With Call of Duty: Warzone nearing its third anniversary, its weapon arsenal has been so vastly expanded that there's really no surprise that there are going to be guns in the game that never see the light of day.

However, there are also those that haven't been relevant in years and deserve some love. As such, here is a breakdown of the top five weapons that desperately need a buff in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 3.

Top 5 Weapons That Need a Buff

5. Whitley

Kicking off the list is the Whitley, which, compared to all the other options here, is by far the least of the evils. However, when looking at the Vargo 52 and Armaguerra 43, it's hard not to think of the Whitley as a bit of a disappointment. It's nice that it didn't get added and instantly dominate the game as most guns do in Warzone, however, the Whitley really needs a buff or else its prominence will continue to be short-lived.

4. AK-47 (MW)

Admittedly, this weapon is not as bad as those below it. However, it is pretty ridiculous how much better and more relevant the Black Ops Cold War variant of the AK-47 is than its O.G. Modern Warfare counterpart. The Modern Warfare AK-47 could definitely use some attention.

3. Striker 45

Remaining one of the worst, if not the worst, SMGs since its debut in February 2020, the Striker 45 would benefit greatly from a buff. As it stands, the Striker 45 is simply a weapon that is kind of a waste to own in bundles, as well as one that does not deserve to look similar to the legendary UMP45.

2. FR 5.56

If not for it having a broken underbarrel shotgun attachment, the FR 5.56 would never have been a relevant — not even decent — option to use in Warzone. It remains the worst option in the assault rifle weapon class.

1. Dragunov

As the story remains with semi-automatic snipers in Call of Duty, it's no surprise that the M82, Rytec AMR and Dragunov all remain at the bottom of the sniper rifle tier list. The last, in particular, has been a bottom-five option since Season 0 of Warzone.
