As Call of Duty: Warzone nears its third anniversary, the game's weapon arsenal is inflated that it should come as no surprise that some guns will simply outclass the rest of the options.

However, there are also those that have been so good that it takes little to no skill to use them, or have been at the top of the rankings for too long. As such, here is a breakdown of the top five weapons that desperately need a nerf in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 3.

Top 5 Weapons That Need a Nerf

5. Kar98k (MW)

Kicking off the list is a weapon that, admittedly, is tough for me to bring up here as it has long been one of my go-to options. It is also for that exact reason, however, that it needs a nerf. It has been one of the best snipers, if not the best, to use in Warzone just about every season.

4. Vargo 52

Up next is the Vargo 52, which has rapidly emerged onto the scene and become a top-two option at range in no time. It wouldn't be all that shocking to see this weapon be toned down a bit.

3. MP-40

By far the most popular weapon in Call of Duty at the moment across both Warzone and Vanguard, the MP-40 could use a nerf considering it's a no-brainer, one-stop shop for all game modes.

2. Owen Gun

Like the Vargo 52, the Owen Gun is not only the best weapon in its weapon class to fill the traditional SMG role, but is elite as a sniper support option as well. It's one of those weapons that decides who wins a gunfight thanks to the slightest of advantages it has over everything else up close.

1. Bren

Last but not least is the Bren, which Raven Software and company even joked about buffing with its April Fools patch. At this point, it seems like players are starting to avoid using it just because of how stale it's gotten. The Bren remains a devastating, yet played out weapon to use until further notice.
