5 Worst Top Laners in League of Legends Patch 11.3
The top lane can be a brutal 1v1 battle that has major implications down the line in a matchup. Good top lane champions must be able to get out of risky scenarios and survive for long periods of time. They must also be good at clearing minion waves and dealing damage to put pressure on their opponent. With that in mind, here are the five worst top laners in patch 11.3.
5 Worst Top Laners in League of Legends Patch 11.3
Zac
Zac is mostly a jungle champion that can flex into the top lane in need be. Zac does however have some issues while in top lane. Mostly, Zac's abilities are about diving in on enemies. While abilities like Elastic Slingshot (E) and Bounce (R) are good for jumping in to do damage, they also require having the health and support to dive in the first place.
Yasuo
Yasuo can outrange most top lane champions. However, the problems for Yasuo come later in the match. Yasuo can't act as a front line in later fights compared to other top laners. While Yasuo's Wind Wall (W) can block some abilities, it can be worked around, and won't stop a charging enemy champion. Yasuo can still be picked off from fights fairly easily.
Yone
Yone has a fast wave clear and can escape from fights fairly easily if need be. However, the problem for top lane Yone comes in the late game as well. Yone can't easily cut through the health of a tank-like champion. Also in a multiple target fight, Yone can really only focus on one target, rather than deal damage to the enemy group.
Lucian
Lucian, similarly to Yasuo, can dominate his lane early in the game by abusing the range on his abilities. However, once armor starts to come online for some of these top laners, they'll be able to survive Lucian's engage tools. This will leave Lucian vulnerable to stuns, dives, and ganks. On top of all that, Lucian doesn't have a lot of health compared to other lane champions.
