5 Rarest Cosmetics in Fortnite: Battle Royale

Here are five of the rarest cosmetics in Fortnite: Battle Royale.

Epic Games consistently pushes out fantastic cosmetics ranging from full character skins to dance emotes. The level of detail put into the newer skins can be noticed now more than ever, especially with the facial expression update to many dances.

Before Fortnite rose to the top as one of the most popular games, there was a humble time where the player base was much smaller. During this time, certain skins were available to be purchased, which are now impossible to get. Some of these items are coveted relics only a small portion of the community have today.

5. Mako Glider

During Season 1, purchasing items were pretty different from what the community is used to today. In order to purchase a certain item, players had to get to a certain level. The Mako Glider was supposed to be an exclusive reward for players that reached level 25.

During the month of January in 2018, the glider made an unexpected appearance to the item shop, listed as an uncommon item for 500 V-Bucks. Eventually, Epic mentioned that the glider in the shop was a mistake and removed it.

As of now, if a player did not reach level 25 or purchased it in when it was in the shop, they will most likely never get another opportunity to snag this glider.

4. Aerial Assault One

There might not be a special story behind this glider, but it was one of the first items that was possible to be purchased by players. During Season 1, if a player reached level five, the Aerial Assault One was available for 500 V-Bucks. Part of the Aerial Assault theme of Season 1, this glider sports a military camouflage.

3. Aerial Assault Trooper

Reaching level 15 in Season 1 unlocked the ability for players to purchase to Aerial Assault Trooper for 1200 V-Bucks. Listed a a rare quality skin, the Aerial Assault Trooper surprisingly has a good amount of detail put into the overall skin.

This skin brings a unique helmet and pieces of gear that honestly make it seem like an epic quality skin.

2. Raider's Revenge

The Raider's Revenge was the last item players could purchase once they reached level 35. Set at 1500 V-Bucks, this was a hefty price to pay for a cosmetic during this time of Fortnite. It's hard to believe many players would pay this much on a cosmetic for a game that had an uncertain future.

It was soon, that Fortnite became a huge phenomenon, and the Raider's Revenge became one of the rarest items in the game.

1. Renegade Raider

One of Tyler "Ninja" Blevins well known skins in his early Fortnite career, the Renegade Raider is one of the most coveted cosmetic to date. Players are constantly asking for this skin to come back into the item shop. Just like the other cosmetics on this list, this skin is a Season 1 exclusive.

This skin could be purchased for 1200 V-Bucks once a player reached level 20. It's a bit sad that Epic will most likely never re-release this skin ever again because it's a fantastic skin.
