Fortnite baseball skins arrived in the game this week, bringing timely sports appreciation to the Fortnite battlefield for the first time since the National Football League skins returned in January. Here's what you need to know about the Fortnite baseball skins.

Fortnite Baseball Skins: Everything You Need to Know

The new ​Fortnite baseball skins are the Fastball and Slugger skins. They’re part of the Three Strikes set, which includes the Homerun Glider and the Grand Slammer pickaxe. Unlike the football cosmetics from earlier this year, these cosmetics are unaffiliated with Major League Baseball.

Fastball Fortnite

Fastball and Slugger are both rare level skins. Each costs 1,200 V-Bucks. The Home Run glider is uncommon level and costs 500 V-Bucks. The Grand Slammer pickaxe completes the set at uncommon level rarity and 500 V-Bucks. All told, purchasing the complete set with either skin will run a player 2,300 V-Bucks.​
