By Jack O'Dwyer
Trainers want to know which Pokemon evolve using a Thunder Stone in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Thunder Stones were made popular in the Pokemon television series, the Indigo League, when franchise protagonist, Pikachu, was given with the choice to evolve. In the face of combat against its evolved form, Raichu, in a gym battle against Lt. Surge for the Thunder Badge, series protagonist, Ash Ketchum, obtained a Thunder Stone and debated evolving his partner to make him stronger.. While Pikachu obviously did not end up evolving, the Thunder Stone has since become an item with a rather complicated history.
Below, we’ve explained which Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus can evolve using a Thunder Stone.
All Pokemon That Evolve Using a Thunder Stone
There are three Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus that evolve using a Thunder Stone:
- Pikachu (Raichu)
- Eevee (Jolteon)
- Magneton (Magnzone)
Raichu is known as the “Mouse” Pokemon, it is capable of discharging bolts of 100,000 volts of electricity at will. According to Professor Laventon, a single shot from this Pokemon would be enough to take out a Galarian Copperajah. Its Hisuian PokeDex number is #057.
Jolteon, the ”Lightning” Pokemon, its best known for its prickly, bristled fur that can form sharp points when enraged. When it exhales, trainers may be able to hear the electricity crackling through its body. Its Hisuian PokeDex number is #027.
Magnezone was originally introduced as part of Generation IV as a native species of the Sinnoh region. Previously, trainers had to level their Magneton in an electric field or area with a particularly strong electric current. Also known as the “Magnet Area” Pokemon—a clever play on its name, “Magnet Zone”—it emits strange radio waves into space through its antenna. Its Hisuian PokeDex number is #179.
