Alley Hunter is a 4-star bow weapon in Genshin Impact. It is part of the "Alley" series that was introduced to Genshin Impact in patch 1.4, and will be returning soon in the second weapon banner of patch 1.6. Here's everything you need to know about what it does, how to obtain it, and who to use it on.

Alley Hunter Genshin Impact: Everything You Need to Know

Alley Hunter is a 4-star bow weapon that gives Base ATK and ATK% as its secondary stat. Below are its base stats:

  • Base ATK (Lv. 1): 44
  • ATK% (Lv. 1): 6%
  • Special Passive Ability: Urban Guerrilla - While the character equipped with this weapon is in the party but not on the field, their DMG increases by 2% every second up to a max of 20%. When the character is on the field for more than 4s, the aforementioned DMG buff decreases by 4% per second until it reaches 0%.

Alley Hunter's passive ability essentially stipulates that it should only be used on an off-field Sub DPS character. Any character that uses this bow should be able to dish out damage without remaining on-field for more than four seconds.

Fischl is the obvious best choice for Alley Hunter, because she is a Sub DPS that specializes in off-screen damage using Oz from both her Burst and her Skill. The bow's passive is almost tailor-made for her. Other good choices for Alley Hunter include Venti and Ganyu (if you are building her as an off-field Sub DPS).

You can even use this bow for Tartaglia if you are building him as a Burst DPS, who aims to dish out huge damage with a Vaporized Burst, and then leave the field.

How to Get Alley Hunter

Alley Hunter is an event-exclusive 4-star weapon, meaning it will only appear in rate-up weapon banners and will not be added to the standard banner.

Luckily, in the second weapon banner of patch 1.6, Alley Hunter is returning as a rate-up weapon, alongside other event-exclusive weapons like The Alley Flash and Wine and Song, so now is the best time to grab it. The weapon banner will begin on June 29.
