The Animal Crossing January bugs have arrived and are available for players to catch on their islands.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a new set of critters can appear on islands depending on the current month from the real-time clock. Here are the new bugs to catch at the start of the new year.

Animal Crossing January Bugs: What's New

Unfortunately, it appears Northern Hemisphere islands will not be getting any new critters to catch in January. On the other hand, there are 21 brand new bugs to catch for those with a net in the Southern Hemisphere.

For those looking to catch every single creature to complete their NookPhone’s Critterpedia and Museum, it’s important to know which critters have arrived this month to stay ahead of the game. There’s no rush to catch any of them, however, as most of them will stick around for much longer than a month.

Here are the new bugs that have arrived in Southern Hemisphere islands.
