Our Apex Legends legend tier list is here for those looking to keep up to date on the best characters to use in Season 12.

As the meta currently stands, there remains a wide range of legends to dominate with in Apex Legends, as usual. However, that's not to say that Respawn Entertainment didn't switch things up a bit with their latest patch. Here's a breakdown of the best legends to use in Apex Legends: Defiance.

Apex Legends Season 12 Legend Tier List

S Tier

• Wraith
• Bloodbound
• Gibraltar
• Valkyrie
• Ash

Kicking off the list is the five legends that remain no-brainer, consistently useful picks in all formats. All of these legends saw no changes with the launch of Defiance and thus will continue to be as dominant as they have been with what they're known for.

A Tier

• Caustic
• Octane
• Horizon
• Pathfinder
• Mad Maggie
• Revenant

In A Tier are six legends that aren't overpowered, yet remain strong picks for any squad. Mad Maggie's unique kit makes for a nice change in pace for the meta, while Octane, Horizon, Pathfinder and Revenant have proven themselves to be effective aggressive picks as well. Caustic is still the go-to defensive legend this season.

B Tier

• Seer
• Fuse
• Lifeline
• Mirage
• Wattson
• Loba
• Crypto

These seven legends sit more in the middle of pack and remain viable in the right hands. Seer and Crypto are tougher scan legends to use than Bloodhound, Lifeline can easily get picked off during third-parties, Mirage remains a question mark, Wattson will most likely be skipped for Caustic picks and Loba can be a bit of a liability in fights.

C Tier

• Bangalore
• Rampart

Two agents that remain underwhelming picks in the meta, Bangalore and Rampart find themselves in the C Tier. While there are always those who can find success with these legends, these two are often found in the bottom of tier lists as they're either outclassed, very situational or simply don't offer too much to help the team.
