As with any modern first-person shooter, the recoil patterns of the guns in Apex Legends are essential information for players looking to maximize their success in-game. The patterns for many of the game's guns changed in Season 4, but one fan has collected all the patterns in a single image to make learning them easier.

The image, created by Apex Legends subreddit user u/iesdise, shows the spray patterns for the Scout, the Alternator, the R-99, the R-301, the RE-45, the Flatline, the Hemlock, the Prowler, the Spitfire, the L-STAR, the Devotion and the Havoc.

Apex Legends Season 4 Recoil Patterns Updated

The weapons using light ammo tend to have the most manageable spray patterns, tending most closely to straight lines. Heavy ammo appears to encourage more difficult patterns that weave left and right as they drop down.

The L-STAR and the Havoc both have anomalous patterns, the former for its smooth curves and the latter for its nearly perfect vertical line.

Apex Legends Season 4 went live in February. Its most recent event, The Old Ways, hit live servers April 7.
