Assualt Rifle Tier List Warzone Season 5 Reloaded
By Jakob Lucas
Warzone's consistent updates continuously shakes up the meta, turning good guns into garbage and vice versa. The latest season is no exception with multiple buffs and nerfs recently being introduced. With freshly adjusted guns, here are the best and worst assault rifles in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded:
S-Tier
C58, FARA 83, Krig 6
The Krig 6 is a consistent top performer in Warzone, even receiving minimum and maximum damage reductions and a recoil increase to deter its use. Despite these nerfs the Krig 6 remains strong and a popular selection amongst many players.
A-Tier
AK-47 (Cold War), EM2, Grau 5.56, QBZ-83, XM4
The EM2 was so overpowered upon its release that it was almost immediately nerfed. While the nerf made it more balanced, it did not change the fact that the EM2 is fantastic at long range. Its powerful impact allows it to shred through targets, but players need to be sure they hit their shots.
B-Tier
AS Val, FFAR 1, Groza, Kilo 141, M13, M4A1, RAM-7
The Kilo 141 offers a high rate of fire paired with solid damage per shot. This combination leads to the Kilo boasting one of the best time-to-kill rate for an assault rifle. The small magazine and slow ADS time are drawbacks, but they can both be fixed with the proper attachments.
C-Tier
AN-94, CR-56 AMAX, FN Scar 17, Oden
The CR-56 AMAX was a widely popular gun and received several nerfs in an attempt to balance it out. The nerfs have been quite successful as it has been made a viable option, but it no longer feels exceptionally strong and dominates the Warzone AR scene.
D-Tier
AK-47 (Modern Warfare), FAL, Oden
These guns are the worst of the bunch in Warzone. From slow fire rates to low damage these guns have all the worst attributes a player could want. While some people remain faithful to these weapons, everyone should stay away unless they want to disadvantage themselves.
