Base Icon SBC FIFA 20 returned to the Ultimate Team menus Tuesday as EA Sports gave fans a big decision to make on Christmas Eve.

The Base Icon SBC originally was released as many expected it to mark the end of Base Icons in Packs. Lo and behold, Prime Icons entered packs last Friday and Base Icons were removed. EA Sports also announced that Icon Swaps 2 would kick off Thursday.

The return of the Base Icon SBC is strange considering the cards don't carry much value anymore outside of meta players.

For those still contemplating whether or not to do the SBC, here are the requirements:

Segment 1

  • Squad Rating: 84
  • Team Chemistry: 75
  • # of Players in the Squad: 11

Segment 2

  • Squad Rating: 85
  • Team Chemistry: 70
  • # of Players in the Squad: 11

Segment 3

  • In-Form Players: Min. 1
  • Squad Rating: 85
  • Team Chemistry: 50
  • # of Players in the Squad: 11

Segment 4

  • In-Form Players: Min. 1
  • Squad Rating: 86
  • Team Chemistry: 50
  • # of Players in the Squad: 11

EA Sports kept the same amount of segments for the SBC, but lowered the requirements and in turn the price. According to FUTBIN, it'll come in around 400,000 coins to complete the SBC.

The price doesn't exactly warrant the reward as most Icons packed from the pack could be purchased as a tradeable version on the Transfer Market.

Complete this Base Icon SBC at your own risk. You might hit a Eusebio, or you might hit a Lehmann.
