Season Eight’s Battle Leagues have come to an end, and players are now receiving their newly-earned Elite TM’s. The decision of who and what to use them on is a difficult decision for players to make, as once you use them, they’re gone. Here are the Best Elite Fast TM’s and their best Pokemon.

In Pokemon GO battles, there are two types of moves a Pokemon can use: Fast moves and Charged moves. Fast moves are attacks that are quick, and while they deal good damage, they pale in comparison to the attack power of a Charge move. Thing is, a Charge move doesn't activate as quickly as a Fast move, so it’s been a strategy to alternate and use what move is best fit for the battle.

With Elite Fast TM’s, players can use them to upgrade a Pokemon’s Fast move to its most powerful version, inflicting colossal damage in quick succession. Of course, obtaining these rare items is no easy task, as players need to take part in an ongoing Battle League. A player’s finishing position in the League and Battle Count determines how many Elite TM’s a player could earn.

The following Pokemon are known to be good candidates for Elite Fast TM’s.

• Zapdos – Thunder Shock
• Talonflame – Incinerate
• Shadow Tyranitar – Smack Down
• Lapras – Ice Shard

• Pidgeot – Gust

Players must carefully consider who to spend their Elite TM’s on, and while the Pokemon above make for excellent investments, there are a variety of reasons players could choose one Pokemon over another. Invest wisely, as there will be no more opportunities to obtain more Elite TM’s until Season 9’s Battle Leagues have ended.

Season 9’s Battle Leagues began on Aug. 30, so it’s not too late to enter and have a chance at earning some Elite TM’s.
