As Season 4 hits Warzone, those who are starting to take battles from afar may be wondering what the best loadout is for the M16 rifle, a burst-fire weapon that can be deadly from a distance.
Best M16 Loadout for Warzone July 2021
The M16 is far from the best or even the most popular weapon that players use in Warzone. But it has a cult following within the community, and can deliver some of the best gunplay the game has to offer in both medium or long distances — which is especially helpful since Verdansk can be quite spacious even with a lot of people.
Note that this loadout is not the definitive answer to a player's needs, and this loadout may not be best for all players, however, there are some core attachments on M16 that should be put on to really maximize the gun's capabilities.
Here's a general idea of what attachments to put on the M16:
- Muzzle: Agency Silencer
- Barrel: 15.9" Strike Team
- Optic: Any 3x scope preferred
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip
- Ammunition: Either a 45-round or 60-round magazine
The Agency Silencer is arguably the best muzzle attachment for the M16 in the game and needs to be used in really any situation. It's especially helpful to have this weapon remain silent in Warzone as players will be using this gun for long-distance engagements and it is crucial to not compromise position to maintain an upper hand.
Due to the M16 being a burst-fire rifle, the fire rate needs to be high in order to make this gun at least somewhat relevant. The 15.9" Strike Team barrel gives the gun both a higher fire rate and damage to really shine in the long-range fights. Couple this with the Field Agent Foregrip and now the control for the M16 feels nearly like shooting a burst-fire laser.
As for optics, it's really a choice of user preference, though if utilizing this gun for far distance engagements, then it's best to have at least a 3x scope that's also comfortable for the player to use.
Similar to the optics, magazine choices are really up to the player to see how much bullets they want to carry out in their engagements. Some may prefer smaller magazines if they can efficiently kill enemies this way, while others need a bigger magazine in order to make sure the shots they are shooting are definitely going to hit the enemies.
