The best meta assault rifle loadout in MW3 Warzone Season 2 just might be a weapon you have never heard of until today.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 delivered a long list of weapon buffs and nerfs that upended the long-range and close-range metas on both Urzikstan and the game's latest arrival, Fortune's Keep. As always, most of the best weapons in the prior season, including the RAM-7 Assault Rifle, received nerfs in the current patch, allowing DLC and underrated weapons to rise to the top of each category. As a result, the best AR in Warzone is shaping up to be from the Battle Pass.

Best Meta Assault Rifle Loadout in MW3 Warzone Season 2

The best meta assault rifle in MW3 Warzone Season 2 is the BP50. The new weapon, featured in Season 2 Battle Pass, undoubtedly trumps the other weapons in its category.

Warzone content creator, James "JGOD" Godoy, revealed his BP50 Assault Rifle loadout in his latest YouTube video. Check out the build below.

  • Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
  • Barrel: Lore-9 Heavy Barrel
  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Magazine: 45 Round Mag
  • Stock: Forebearer Heavy Stock

Although the RAM-7 is still a solid option despite its nerf, the BP50 Assault Rifle has the perfect range and mobility for Fortune's Keep. Paired with an elite SMG like the HRM-9 or RAM-9, the BP50 is a surefire way to tally plenty of kills and ultimately pick up a Resurgence victory.

The only downside to the AR is its 45 Round Mag. Players must be mindful of how much ammo they have and use, especially in a Ranked Resurgence map, to avoid reloading in the middle of important gunfights.

Best RAM-7 Assault Rifle Loadout in MW3 Warzone Season 2

If you do not have the BP50 Assault Rifle unlocked yet, or you simply prefer sticking with a well-known weapon, then the RAM-7 Assault Rifle is the next best option in MW3 Warzone Season 2.

  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Magazine: 60 Round Drum

Those opting to run the RAM-7 must beware of the following nerfs to the AR in the latest patch:

  • Mid Damage reduced to 24, down from 28.
  • Min Damage reduced to 22, down from 25.
