We've put together a list of some of the best places to find specialty Fishing Pools in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.

World of Warcraft's latest expansion, Dragonflight, has been with us for just over a week. Players new and old have been enjoying all of the new content that has arrived, from exploring the Dragon Isles to soaring the skies with Dragonriding.

Of course, there's still plenty of other activities and Professions from expansions past that have their uses in Dragonflight — Fishing being one of them. If you're after some of the game's more interesting catches, then you'll want to be on the lookout for specialty Fishing Pools.

Best Places to Find Specialty Fishing Pools in Dragonflight

While the generic special Fishing Pools offer little difference in terms of offerings from just regular fishing, building your relationship with the Iskaara Tuskarr faction will unlock the ability to see different pools. At Renown 4 you'll be able to see great Fishing Holes on your map. At Renown 6, you'll unlock Highland Fishing which reveals new fishing pools in high mountain lakes.

There isn't anywhere in particular where you'll find a greater number of special pools but, depending on what you're after, you'll have a higher chance of catching certain fish in different areas.

Best Places to Find Frosted Rimefin Tuna in Dragonflight

If you need Frosted Rimefin Tuna, then frozen lakes are where you need to be. Of course, you'll need to have earned the ability to do Ice Fishing, which is unlocked at Renown 10 from the Iskaara Tuskarr.

There is basically only one place to find the Rimefin Tuna near Grimtusk's Fishing Hole at 58, 32 in the Azure Span. You'll find multiple Crack Ice spots all around. Make sure not to click your Frosted Rimefin Tuna unless you're about to use them or they'll spoil!

Best Places to Find Magma Thresher in Dragonflight

If you're hoping to catch a Magma Thresher then you'll need to make the trek to lava lakes. These places are hard to access, and in order to fish in them you'll need to have unlocked Lava Fishing. For this, you'll need to reach Renown 15 with the Iskaara Tuskarr. You'll also need to create a Polished Basalt Bracelet, which will help you to access the pools.

The best spots are toward the top of the Waking Shores around the Scalecracker Keep and Life-Binder Conservatory. In the rivers of lava you'll see the fishing pools.

Best Places to Find Prismatic Leaper in Dragonflight

So there are multiple things you could do. Most spawns will disappear after three to five fish appear and then respawn after five minutes. So you could fly from location to location using your Dragonriding, but others may be farming and ruin the rhythm. My advice is to find one or two spots and rotate between them.

The plains are the best spot to farm them out of every zone, but here is the best spot without a doubt. Hit up 56, 80, then fly over the mountain directly east of you and fly to 30, 25 in Azure Span. It should take five seconds at most. That spot can spawn two Prismatic Leapers at once. Simply rotate back and forth and enjoy your Leapers! And whether you are use mining or herbalism, you'll find good farming for those in the surrounding area as you wait for them to spawn.
