Best Shadow Snorlax Counters: How to Defeat Shadow Snorlax

Snorlax is a normal-type Pokémon, so he's the perfect defense Pokémon. While Snorlax was already a pain to take down, with the Shadow buff, Snorlax can take some damage and end up wiping your raid team if you don't do it right. Here's a list of Pokémon would do well against Shadow Snorlax.

  • Mewtwo - Psycho Cut and Focus Blast
  • Weavile - Ice Shard and Focus Blast
  • Tyranitar - Smack Down, Crunch or Stone Edge
  • Metagross - Psychic, Bullet Punch or Meteor Mash
  • Lucario - Counter and Close Combat
  • Machamp - Counter and Dynamic Punch

Basically you want fighting-type Pokémon or high DPS Pokémon. If you have a ghost, steel or rock-type Pokémon, you'll last longer as well.
