The Enchanting profession should be amongst the top professions for Raiders and Mythic players as it provides invaluable abilities and stats. Through this profession, players gain the ability to enchant themselves, others and their equipment for unique stat boosts. Not only that but enchanting also allows players to craft premium gear that is highly sought after. Most players pursuing this profession also take advantage of the ability to disenchant items and gather reagents. These are valuable items that can fetch a hefty price at the auction.
Best Specialization for Enchanting in Dragonflight
Those taking on the Enchanting profession will be presented with the following three specialization trees.
- Enchantment
- Insight of the Blue
- Rods, Runes, and Ruses
Enchantment
This tree can grant you up to +15 Skill, +10 Inspiration, and +10 Resourcefulness whenever you enchant a weapon. There are nine sub-specialization within this tree and they each provide stat boosts depending on what is used for enchantments. All of the sub-specializations are listed below:
- Primal
- Burning
- Earthen
- Titanic
- Frozen
- Wafting
- Material Manipulation
- Magical Reinforcement
- Artistry
- Adaptive
Insight of the Blue
This tree improves your ability to spot Mystic Items and treasures that can be converted to Reagents. Players will find themselves gaining similar stat boosts when crafting enchantments as they would with the Enchantment tree. The difference here is that you can gain up to a 15% boost in chances of finding Mystic Items. There are two sub-specializations within this tree that provide boosts in either Reagent or Rousing Elements that can be collected. All of the sub-specializations are listed below:
- Primal Extraction
- Draconic Disenchantment
Rods, Runes, and Ruses
Investing in this tree will boost your ability to craft enchantments, enchant goods, and improve both your tool and Reagent use. Players can gain up to 15 skill when crafting enchantments or enchanting goods as well as enchant crafts 20% faster. This tree contains the four sub-specializations listed below:
- Rods and Wands
- Illusory Goods
- Resourceful Wit
- Inspired Devotion
Each of these specializations carries its own useful traits, but we believe that focusing your efforts on the Insight of the Blue tree is the best route to take. This tree makes it easier to obtain Mystic Items and Reagants allowing newer players to make some decent changes and increase the number of materials in their stock.
