Best Way to Unlock Damage Badges in Apex Legends
The primary goal in Apex Legends is to be the last squad standing, players can find other achievements to complete in-game to receive awards. There are Damage Badges that players can unlock by increasing the damage output from 2k to 4k damage in exchange for a badge.
To receive the Damage Badge, players have to accumulate 2,000, 3,000, and 4,000 total damage in a single game with a specific legend. These numbers might seem out of the box for some players, so here are some tips on how to increase your damage output.
Best Way to Unlock Damage Badges in Apex Legends
1. Surviving is Your Friend
Better said than done, right? To keep accumulating damage in your Apex game, try to focus on staying alive for the longest time you can. While you are trying to survive, try to do as much damage output and you can hopefully reach the damage requirements for the badge achievement.
Try using long-range weapons to deal damage from afar and you can also stay far and safe from all the fighting.
2. Avoid Hot Drops
If you are trying to be the last one standing or trying to survive for the longest time, it is better to avoid the hot drop location. Although it might seem like a good idea to maximize damage, it can be easy to get third-partied and not complete the challenge.
It is better to drop near a hot drop, loot, and then join the party once you have cleared out any competition that also landed near you.
3. Choose and Learn a Legend
There are legends who are better for picking more damage and that is why we recommend picking a legend and learning all about them to execute your best gameplay. Some of the legends who pick more damage are Wraith, Horizon, Pathfinder, and Bangalore.
4. Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
If you are playing with a squad, let them know you are trying for the high damage badge. As a team, they can support you throughout the game!
