Black Ops 2 Xbox Player Count 2023

The Black Ops 2 Xbox player count in 2023 has surged after Activision fixed the servers for classic games that released during the Xbox 360 days.
As interest in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 decreases by the day, fans are much more inclined to return to some of the best Call of Duty titles in history. Ever since the servers were activated, more and more players have opted for nostalgia than the current product put forth by Infinity Ward.
Despite the recent release of MW2 Season 4 Reloaded, loading into Black Ops 2 and revisiting the game's campaign, Zombies, and multiplayer modes is by far the more appealing option.
So, how many players jumped to Black Ops 2 in the past month?

Black Ops 2 Xbox Player Count 2023
The Black Ops 2 Xbox player count in 2023 has reached over 11,000 players in the past week. According to screenshots shared by Twitter user, IdleSloth84_, as of July 16, there were 11,514 players on Black Ops 2 on Xbox alone.
The spike in numbers not only shows how beloved the 2012 release still is, but it highlights the community's repeated disappointment in the popular franchise throughout the last few years. Players would rather load into Nuketown 2025 and Standoff than explore the new Vondel Waterfront map.
