S Tier - AK-47

The AK47 is an easy one to pick up because you unlock it right at the start. You can only unlock attachments by using the gun, which makes picking up the FFAR 1 a far less appealing proposition. By the time you unlock it, you’ll likely have 40 levels of progression in a gun. Additionally, the gun received a notable nerf.

A Tier - Krig 6

The KRIG 6 is a good all-around assault rifle. If you’re not a fan of the AK-47 then the Krig might be the go-to weapon since it’s unlocked fairly early on.

B Tier - XM4

This is another weapon that is available from the start, and it is probably the most straightforward weapon in the game. Every Call of Duty has a version of this gun. It’ll get the job done, and if that’s what you like in a weapon you can’t go wrong with the XM4.

C Tier - QBZ-83 and FFAR 1

It is a rare sight that we see someone perform well with a QBZ, and if they do then they have either been matched with players below their skill level, or they are an extremely good player. This tier list is meant for the average person, and the average person should stay far away from the QBZ-83.
