Black Ops Cold War Best Guns: Damage and TTK Data Calculated
A Reddit user by the name of u/AzizVS2 has recorded the weapon stats for all of the guns tested in the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta back in October.
While Treyarch has perhaps already nerfed and buffed a number of these guns and attachment loadouts before the game's official release on Nov. 13, here's how the weapons benchmarked and unofficially performed in time-to-kill (TTK) during the beta.
Black Ops Cold War Best Guns: Damage and TTK Data Calculated
Early on into the Black Ops Cold War testing periods, the Create-a-Class feature especially stuck out to CoD players with how deep it went into gun details when selecting attachments.
Everything from Firepower, Speed, Accuracy, and Ammo was listed clear and concise for players to get the best statistical understanding for how their attachment decisions impacted the guns.
Taking this a step further however, AzizVS2 championed a journey for the community and went through the hassle of not only recording these stats for each of the 21 guns, but also calculating the TTKs for 16 of them.
According to AzizVS2, the gun with the fastest TTK in the beta—excluding one-shot kill snipers and shotguns—was the M16 at 132 ms.
Following the M16 was its 3-round burst SMG sibling, the KSP 45, which had a TTK of 166 ms.
For those curious about the full-auto gun with the fastest TTK, the answer is the AK-74u, which shredded players at 258 ms.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Type 63 had the slowest TTK at 400 ms.
