The Bottoms Up ad in Cyberpunk 2077 is not for the eyes of the innocent.

Those who've enjoyed titles from CD Projekt Red know that the developer is far from shy in incorporating nudity and sexual themes to add to the worldbuilding of their games' settings. An advertisement in Cyberpunk 2077 has been one of the most prominent examples of that in recent days.

Bottoms Up Cyberpunk 2077: What is it?

Surging as one of the most often searched and tweeted terms related to Cyberpunk 2077 online, Bottoms Up is an advertisement often found plastered around Night City by way of billboards, posters and street signs.

"Best Braindance in Skin Flick 2077,” the poster reads.

The double entendre serves as a polarizing detail for players, either to their delight or disgust as a woman bounces her bottom in a man’s ecstatic face.

While the Cyberpunk 2077 does include lewd scenes, both having to do with the romance routes and not, the Bottoms Up, Mr. Chad, Watson Whore and Milfgard ads surpass the rudimentary role of serving as shocking easter eggs—albeit contrary to what those who go out of their way to look up YouTube clips of the ad might think.

Instead, the ads work to drive the point home to players that sex in the dark, futuristic Cyberpunk 2077 world is hyper-corporatized, often in ways that are tacky and in poor taste to a fault.
