Call of Duty: Vanguard Special Editions Explained

Call of Duty: Vanguard's many special editions come with different bonuses and price points, and some of those bonuses change based on whether or not you pre-order the game or wait until launch to pick it up. Here's everything you need to know about the many purchasing options for Vanguard.

Pre-Order Incentives

First up, pre-order bonuses. If you pre-order any digital edition of Vanguard, you'll receive the following bonuses:

• The Night Raid Mastercraft Weapon Blueprint, instantly playable in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone
• Arthur Kingsley Operator, instantly playable in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone

Digital Standard Edition (PS4, Xbox One) – $60

Digital Standard Edition includes the base game, plus:

• The Frontline Weapons Pack, which includes two Call of Duty: Vanguard weapon blueprints

This version does not include next-gen improvements such as higher framerates, shorter load times, and so on. Upgrades to the next-gen versions will be available in the corresponding console shop.

Digital Cross-Gen Bundle (PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S) – $70

This bundle include the base game playable on both console generations plus:

• The Frontline Weapons Pack, which includes two Vanguard weapon blueprints available at launch
• Five hours of double Weapon XP for use in Vanguard and Warzone

Any progression made on one console generation will transfer to the new one if you decide to upgrade.

Digital Ultimate Edition – $100

Includes the base game playable on both console generations or PC, plus:

• The Task Force One Pack, which includes three themed Operators and three Weapon Blueprints with Tracer Rounds
• The Frontline Weapons Pack, which includes two Weapon Blueprints available at launch and playable in both Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone
• The Battle Pass Bundle, good for one Season Battle Pass and includes 20 Tier Skips
• Five hours of Double XP and five hours of Double Weapon XP for use in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone, available as Double XP Tokens when the game launches

Pre-ordering the Digital Ultimate Edition will also earn players 10 Battle Pass Tier Skips.

Physical Standard Edition (PS4, Xbox One) – $60

Includes the base game, which can be played on either generation of console but doesn't offer next-gen improvements. No physical version is offered for PC.

Physical Standard Edition (PS5, Xbox Series X|S) – $70

Includes the base game with next-gen improvements. The Xbox Series X Standard Edition also includes an Xbox One version of the game on disc.
