Call of Duty Warzone Leaks Suggest the Stadium Opening up
By Chaz Frazer
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare saw its delayed Season 4 launch on June 10, and although there were many changes to multiplayer and Warzone, none of them included changes to the Warzone map. That might be changing in the future if reveals by leaker Geeky Pastimes are to be believed.
Geeky Pastimes has a strong track record when it comes to data mined or insider information, as they have accurately predicted various additions to Warzone, multiplayer and the COD store offerings. One of their predictions pertains to one area of the map that has been off limits since Warzone dropped back in March - the Stadium location.
Call of Duty Leaker Suggests Changes Coming to Warzone Including the Stadium Opening
Currently inaccessible, the Stadium is a huge structure loosely based off of Donbass Arena located in Donetsk, Ukraine. A look of the interior of this arena may provide insight into how the Stadium may look if it does indeed open up to players to loot around and battle inside.
Unknown if the Stadium access will be coming to Warzone, or as a new Multiplayer or Ground War map, Geeky Pastimes nonetheless has accurately predicted all items on his Twitter page to some degree. Time will ultimately tell with this one, but it remains an interesting proposition to be able to corral with friends and teammates inside of Stadium while engaging with other enemy players.
Other notable leaks include the inclusion of a set of train tracks forming a loop around the Southwestern part of the map; included in Season 4, which might hint at some kind of train traversing these rails in a future update. If these leaks are accurate, expect to see Warzone map changes during the second half of Season 4 into Season 5.
