If you're hunting during Spotlight Hours, you will not get a boosted rate.

When you've found one, there will be a signature sparkle over the Shiny Pokémon and by its name. Of course, the Pokémon will be a different color as well. A Shiny Meowth is slightly more tan and has maroon accents instead of orange-brown.

What about Meowth's other forms? Meowth has the distinction of having multiple regional forms. Its Alolan Form is available as a Shiny, but its Galarian form isn't. A Shiny Alolan Meowth is dark blue-gray, compared to the original light gray.

You'll want Shiny Meowths for your collection if you're a Shiny hunter, as they don't evolve into a particularly strong Pokémon. Persian, in both forms, have mediocre stats and attacks.
