Cracking the ritual shard in Cyberpunk 2077 is required in a gig where a ritualist has one on him. This can be a tricky task due to bugs, especially with shards.

Cyberpunk 2077: How to Crack the Ritualist's Shard

This particular Cyberpsycho Sighting is issued when the player finds a certain site after 8 p.m. located in the Watson area. Players must first complete the "Playing for Time" story quest before this one becomes available to complete. When arriving at the site, players will see something bloody has happened are instructed to look for survivors, there will be one left and they will be killed quickly. The shard can be found on the fresh corpse.

Finding the Shard in the Inventory

The Shard's name is "It's Time." Players must pause and scroll over to the Journal tab. Open it up and find the Shards tab. Shards are categorized and this particular Shard is at the bottom under a label reading as "1."

Cracking (Hacking) the Shard

As players might suspect, the Shard is encrypted. Players will have to crack (or hack) it in order to read what's there. Open up the Shard and it will show a Breach Puzzle. Complete the puzzle and the gig should move on to the next part.

Sadly, there has been glitches with cracking the shard and players are finding that once cracked, the shard is not being recognized as cracked. Hopefully, this will be fixed in the future.
