Diablo IV Server Slam Weekend: All Available Rewards
Blizzard are hosting a Diablo IV Server Slam weekend, letting players jump into Sanctuary once more. Here are all of the available rewards up for grabs this time around.
Players are being given another opportunity to try out Diablo IV ahead of its launch on June 6, 2023. Blizzard previously offered two Beta weekends: an Early Access Beta weekend for those who pre-purchased Diablo IV, and an Open Beta weekend for everyone.
The two Betas saw waves of players jumping into Sanctuary, experiencing the five classes that will be available at launch: Barbarian, Sorcerer, Druid, Necromancer and Rogue. Both events have now wrapped up, but there's one more chance to check out Sanctuary before release day during the Server Slam. Blizzard has also confirmed that all of the classes will be available once again during the Server Slam.
There will be a few differences for those hopping into the game this time around. Namely, all of the bug fixes and feedback changes Blizzard received after the first round of Betas as detailed in the Open Beta Retrospective blog. In addition, Blizzard have made it a little bit harder to stumble across Legendary items during the Server Slam, altering the drop rates to be more reflective of what players will experience when the Diablo IV launches.
Like before, any character progress made during the Server Slam won't carry over to the game at launch. Similarly, character progress made during the Early Access and Open Beta weekends won't carry over to the Server Slam or main game, either.
During the Betas, players who hit certain milestones and checkpoints earned themselves rewards to be used when the game launches. Now, aside from getting another chance to claim these rewards, the Server Slam features some new ones up for grabs.
Diablo IV Server Slam Weekend: All Available Rewards
Blizzard has confirmed that players will be able to earn the following rewards during the Diablo IV Server Slam:
- Initial Casualty Title: earned by reaching Kyovashad with one character.
- Early Voyager Title: earned by reaching Level 20 on one character.
- Beta Wolf Pack Cosmetic Item: earned by reaching Level 20 on one character.
- Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy: earned by defeating Ashava with one Level 20 character.
The Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy is the new reward up for grabs this time around. If you've earned any of the others during the previous Betas, you won't need to earn them again for them to be available at launch.
The Diablo IV Server Slam begins on May 12, 12 p.m. and runs until May 14, 12 p.m. PDT.
