Diana rework enters League of Legends Patch 9.24, which goes live Wednesday. This will likely be the last major champion rework of the year, as League of Legends Patch 9.24 is the final patch of the year.

"As promised, we've made some changes aimed at helping Diana’s pre-level-6 lane, and making both the playing as and against Diana experiences less of a feast or famine," Riot Games wrote in the patch notes. "By giving her access to Lunar Rush as a basic ability, we're unlocking one of Diana's core mechanics earlier and in the laning phase, allowing her to fight against and interact with enemies before she hits level 6. The change also allows her to effectively gank early as a jungler too, which is a massive increase to her effectiveness in that role.

"Additionally, Diana's new ultimate now significantly opens her up to more options as the game progresses, giving her both teamfight and skirmish capabilities that were previously inaccessible to her. This also adds a lot of variety to how she approaches fights, so her goal isn't always to nuke a single person with a full combo."

Diana's base mana increased from 372 to 400, base mana growth from 20 to 25 and attack damage from 53.04 to 57.04. Her passive, Moonsilver Blade, now allows her to gain 10-40 percent attack speed at Levels 1-18. Casting an ability triples the attack speed Diana gains from Moonsilver Blade for three seconds. Every third strike cleaves nearby enemies for 20-250 (+0.4 ability power) additional magic damage. That is a change from the Levels 1-18 cap that existed on third strike cleaves before the rework.

The cost of Diana's Q, Crescent Strike, decreased from 55 to 50. The cooldown on her W, Pale Cascade, increased to 15/13.5/12/10.5/9 seconds, as opposed to 10 seconds at all ranks.

Diana's old ultimate, Lunar Rush, is now her new E. The cooldown is 22/20/18/16/14, as opposed to 25/20/15. The cost is 40/45/55/60/65 as opposed to 50/65/80 mana. The damage is 40/60/80/100/120 instead of 100/160/220.

Diana's old E, Moonfall, is now her R. If Diana pulls in one or more enemy champions, the moonlight crashes down onto her after one second, dealing 200/300/400 (+0.6 ability power) magic damage in an area around her, increased by 35/60/85 (+0.15 ability power) for each target beyond the first pulled

Diana's rework is perhaps only the second biggest champion news in League of Legends Patch 9.24, as Aphelios is now playable.
